I have no idea

Do you ever feel like life is chewing you up and spitting you back out over and over again? That is me right now! I feel like I am spinning in circles and I keep spinning and spinning and spinning and gaining no ground. Sometimes I stop and think, "self, when will I ever spring back". I know I am not the only one who thinks this way, but it just gets old, you know what I mean?

"I have no idea" is one of my most used phrases right now. The ONE and ONLY thing I hate about motherhood is my lack of thinking skills. It's like once J was born and laid on my tummy, the doctor said, "ok Candice here  is your brain and I am about to throw it in the garbage." I can't remember anything and I find it very hard sometimes to multitask. I misplace things, forget memories pre-baby, and can't focus for long periods of time (I sound like a commercial for bad side effects to a certain drug) I am completely blown away that I can't remember things. My brain is working in over time. I wish I could write down all the things that pass through my mind in 10 seconds. It's amazing. Of course, every single one of those thoughts are concerning Jameson....and Rusty.....but mostly Jameson. :) Rusty can take care of himself.

I say all of this just to let  you know why my blog has slowed down. I don't have time and my life is running in circles and I am sure you don't want to hear about the latest poop, pee, or snot bubble! Ha. However, I do LOVE  my life and wouldn't have my brain back for anything.  Well, maybe just a little bit of it.

J is still battling with asthma and allergies. That is an endless cycle in itself. He has been sick all summer. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! I feel much better now. Anyway sickness=no sleep. No sleep=cranky tired mommy. Cranky tired mommy=bad mommy! Do you see how this is not good.

So, J, do you think you could start sleeping and grow out of your asthma and allergies and let mommy think of other people for a while? Please......

Sorry I have no exciting news to share, but to me, it is exciting and fun. Everyday is a new memory I will soon forget! Ha Ha. ;)

Hugs and kisses.

Growing

Everthing is growing at the Camp household. Jameson is getting to be such a big boy. He amazes me each day when he says something new. He is really getting into this talking thing. Not a day goes by that I don't laugh at something he says. My favorite thing he says right now is, "hold on tight"(he grabs himself in the chest when he says it) and "bulldooder" (bull dozer) He brings such joy to my life. What did I do without him (sat down, watched TV, slept, took naps, went on trips....um I mean my life was so boring without him) Just kidding. I love my life and love being a mom.

Every year I plant lots of flowers around the house. I just like making it look lively outside. This year has been a great year for my flowers. They are so pretty. I love walking outside and seeing so much color. I took some pictures, but they don't do it justice.

Summer has been a blast so far. We basically stay outside all the time and play....HARD! Life is grand isn't it.

Children's Day and Advice

I think Mother's Day should be renamed, "Children's Day" because if it weren't for them, there wouldn't be a Mother's Day. Just a thought.

Anyway, this was my second Mother's Day and it was very special. On any holiday, I always wake up on the verge of tears. Anyone else???? Why is that? Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving, Mother's Day, childs birthday. I am always on the emotional side. One wrong word or sweet kiss and I am done. So, Rusty had written me this letter that verified once again how much he loves me and what a lucky woman I am. The very first, "Dear Can", the tears began to come. Then, I read Jameson's card and opened my gifts and tears still came. It was a great start to my very special day.

Mother's Day is just a reminder to me of how blessed I am to have Jameson. He is my life and the joy of my day. It is also a reminder of how lucky I am to have a mom. I love my mom so very much. She is my best friend. I guess I get so emotional because I know how blessed I am. God gives us these days to remind us just how much He has given us. I am so very thankful that he allows me to celebrate Mother's Day.

Now, on to the advice part. Jameson has started biting at daycare. He has bitten a child all three days this week and once last week. Any moms been through this or going through this? Give me some pointers on how to stop it. We have tried everyting. Im afraid I am going to start receiving hate mail from some moms if it doesn't stop soon. Help!

This sweet little face will bite you! Hard to believe isn't it.

Where does the time go?

Saturday was our 6 year anniversary! On Friday, Rusty took me to a cute little bed and breakfast. We are lovers of b&b's. We laughed Sat. when we left because we were by far the youngest one's there. We are old at heart. Anyway, J stayed with my mom Friday night and was a perfect angel according to my mom (who, by the way, would say that even if he had burned her house down). Russ and I had a great time together. It was nice to relax. It seems like the years pass by more quickly now. Could just be me.

The past six years have been amazing for me. I know that Russ is my true mate. Who else could put up with my mood swings and demands. I am so very thankful that we fell in love so many years ago.  (most of you know we fell in love in elementary school) so I won't bore you with that story again. If you care to hear it again, just leave a comment and I will be happy to share! Anyway, lots of things have changed in the past 6 years (for the better). The one thing that brings me the most happiness is, the way our love changes each year. I truely do love Rusty more today than I did when we got married. There is so much love and respect in my heart and in our marriage. The only way to keep that love growing is through God. I know this is the only reason we are still happily married as well. You can't make it without Him. I love you Russ. You are an amazing, Godly husband and father. I love being your wife and love going to b&b's with you even though we are the younest one's there. Happy Anniversary! I love you. Thanks for making me so happy. You're cooler than the flip side of my pillow baby.

So, here is where we went. It was the neatest little place.

This is the face I couldn't wait to get home to! The other love of my life.

Guess what we've been doing

Starting him out early. We hope he will make us some good money one day.

He loves to sit in the jeep.

Finally got him to look at the camera!

There is a common theme to all of these pictures (beside the shirt).....do you know what it is? You guessed it, "outside". This is our life once the weather becomes warm. We are outside all the time and will do nothing else. So, if anyone ever needs us, just check the yard! Ha.

Happy Easter

It's a little late, but Happy Easter. We had a blast this Easter celebrating Jesus. He is alive and proves it to me daily by blessing me. Jameson had a great time too. He had fun opening his Easter basket Sunday morning, then it was off to church. He was the most handsome boy in church (of course). After church we headed to Pop and GiGi's house for some good eating. After a quick nap we went to Gam and Paw paw's house for more good eating and an Easter egg hunt. Jameson would see an egg and run as fast as he could, pick it up and say,  "I foun ouh". ("I found one" in baby talk). :) It was good to get to spend quality time as a family for a change. Sometimes we get so busy with everyday life that we forget to really spend time with each other. Here are a few pics of my handsome little man.

Picking flowers with daddy. Is he cute or what!!!!

Really getting into it

Got it!

Sat. night before Easter, our very best friends Brandy and Jonathan came over with their little girl Maddie. It took Jameson a little while to warm up to Maddie, but after an hour or so they were having a blast. It is great to have quality "friend" time too. Brandy is my best friend and I hate that we live apart. I wish we had more "girl time", but what little bit we do get,  is amazing! You could so tell that Brandy and Jonathan have a girl and we have a boy. i.e......Jameson would run full speed and fall down so hard and Brandy and Jonathan would sort freak out. It was so funny. Jameson is very active and you know how much more boys tend to fall and run around than girls do. I didn't realize how we had become so used to Jameson falling until Brandy and Jonathan came over. Rusty told me he didn't know what we would do if we had a girl. She would be broken to pieces I guess. :)

Gotta love those stairs!

Maddie loved throwing stuff down to us

Everthing else is going well. I am super excited about the weather. It has been beautiful here lately. We are all finally getting better and spending most of our time outside. Life is grand! Lots of love to my readers!

Ahhhhh....

Well, just wanted to drop in and let everyone know that I am so very thankful that March is almost over and summer is on the way! Just to prove to you that I am not lying about our sickness, I will fill you in on the month of March..

Jameson's asthama has flared up again and we have been on the "breathing treatments straight from Hades" again. Going on 12 days now! I know it is a seasonal thing, but I am about ready to throw "Mr Panda" (that is what the nebulizer looks like and we have to name him or Jameson will not take his medicine) out the window. :) He is getting better, but can we just say, "enough already"!!!!!

Oh and Rusty had to have a tube put in his ear last week.....left over infection from all winter long finally got to him. I felt really sorry for him because they had to suck the infection out of his ear. He told me it was not very pleasant. Actually, he said in a very light way, "I had rather go through child birth". After a very short chew out and some minor yelling into his new cleaned out ear, he decided he changed his mind and took back what he said. :)

Oh and guess what, I am now sick too (allergies I think, but still not nice)  I told you it is a cycle and I am sick to death of it!!!! For now, I am just sitting at work marking off the days of the calendar and popping decongestants! Oh what a fun filled life I live.

Hope everyone else is good. Hopefully next time I update, everyone will be well.

Hey.....remember me?

So I haven't been able to blog in over a month and it has almost killed me. I have missed the blogging world so very much. So, in as short a blog as I can, I am going to sum up the last month. I will break it down into categories because I am so OCD and need organization....which i do not have most of the time and it drives me insane.

Job-
I started a new job in January and it has consumed all my time during the day. Sometimes I don't even get a lunch break. The only plus to that is that it makes the day go by really fast. I think I am really going to like my job once I learn everything (if that is possible). I am in information overload all day long.

My family-
For some reason this winter, we can't seem to stay well. Jameson gets sick, then Rusty, then me. It is an endless cycle. Since Christmas we have been sick....really! Jameson had a double ear infection after Christmas. He got well and Rusty got sick, then I got sick. We have all been to the doctor more this year that I think I have been my whole life. Jameson just got over his 2nd double ear infection and now Rusty has an ear infection. I am just waiting my turn.  The sickness to end all sicknesses hit us a few weeks ago........THE VIRUS...dum dum dum (scary music and evil eyes from me inserted here)! I have only thrown up once in my life and had rather be stabbed with a knife than throw up ever again. I think I am dying when I throw up. So, when Jameson starting throwing up one Friday night, I prayed to the good Lord Jesus that he would spare me just this one thing. By Sunday Rusty and I were still free of the virus and I felt we were going to make it. My luck changed a bit when Rusty started throwing up that Sunday night. I started praying fiercly at that point. Tuesday rolled around and I was certain I had dodged a bullet. Until......Tuesday afternoon when I got home from work. I started feeling sick and started praying that if I had the virus to please let it come out the other end. I made a deal with Jesus that I would sit on the toilet for a solid 24 hours if he would allow me not to throw up. Well, He answered my prayers in between throwing up, I got to sit on the toilet! :) I really thought I was going to die! I have never been so sick in my life. I was so sick that I started throwing up blood (only on my last go round). It was bad. However, since  you are reading this, you will be happy to know that I did indeed survive. So, not such a good winter for the ole Camp family.

Jameson-
On to my favorite subject in the whole world....he is perfect! If you have lost count, he is now 19 months old!  I can't believe it. He is talking a lot more now and is actually able to communicate what he wants. That makes life so much easier. He is doing so many cute things that I can't even begin to tell you in one blog. I will share one cute thing he has started doing. Recently he has started noticing when he uses the bathroom and comes running to me holding "himself" and saying "Ewwwww". He has sat on the potty at daycare a few times, but nothing happens. We are not quite ready yet, but I know my diaper days will come to an end in the near future. My favorite word he says right now is of course, "ma ma". It melts my heart!

When my life gets extremely crazy and I don't think I can take much more, I have to have "me" time. I don't get to do that much, but I still try. Let me just share what goes on in my little corner of the world. If I ever get a chance to do something just for me, it is usually spent reading. That is my outlet. When I pick up a good book, I get lost in it and I forget all about the stress and demands of life. So, after much persuassion from numerous friends, I started reading the "Twilight Saga". Let me just say, "Oh my" (insert big eyes and a huge smile on my face). I became consumed by these books and could not wait until bedtime, lunch, breaks, rides in cars, any free time I had to read! I read all 4 books in a very short time and have started reading them again. They are the best books I have ever read. Those of you who have read them know what I am talking about. Some of you may not have read them and may be thinking I am crazy. Either way, I have thoroghly enjoyed myself. I thought I would never be a victim of the "twilight" fad, but I quickly fell into the fad. I love, love, love the books.  I would also like to say that I have been reading the Bible more as well. I have never been real disciplined when it comes to reading the Bible. Our Sunday School class decided to read the whole new testament and it has been great! I fall back on my reading sometimes, (Rusty makes me feel guilty for reading twilight at night if I don't read the Bible first), but that keeps me determined. I have had a great season of reading lately and I love it. God has really taught me some things. It has been amazing.

I know you are all tired of reading about my boring life, so I will end it here. We have been so busy, and though I get stressed and tired, I can honestly say that I love the life God has given me! He has blessed me so much (even thought He let me throw up for several hours one night). He is still good and loves me, even with my faults (ex. reading "twilight"). I will try to upload some pictures tomorrow so you can see how big my little man has gotten. I hope I still have some readers out there. Drop me a comment and let me know you still care! :)

Until next time......

You say its your birthday!

Well, today is my birthday and I am so happy. Aren't bday's great!!! Ahhhhh.... Anyway, I just had to share the little note that Rusty emailed me this morning. It made me cry and made me feel so special and just reminded once again how lucky I am.

Well, well – I am excited that it’s your birthday! I know you are too. Let me take a moment and let me list some of the things I love about you:

There has never been a day since we’ve been together that I haven’t smiled from being with you.
A day has never gone by when you haven’t told me you love me.
You are more beautiful to me now than you were at 16 (and don’t argue about it!)
You show your heart by how selfless you are when it comes to me and J.
Unlike most, you are never concerned at what you have and you love the little things more than the big things.
You’re not lazy and you take pride in keeping everything clean.
You love to sing in the car! You love your coffee in the morning. You love to go places and outdoors.
I love to take you to eat supper (or dinner) cause it’s time together. And movies too…

Most of all, I love that you are my wife. The one for me, and with me always. I love you Beau and I hope you have a wonderful Birthday!
