Hey.....remember me?

So I haven't been able to blog in over a month and it has almost killed me. I have missed the blogging world so very much. So, in as short a blog as I can, I am going to sum up the last month. I will break it down into categories because I am so OCD and need organization....which i do not have most of the time and it drives me insane.

Job-
I started a new job in January and it has consumed all my time during the day. Sometimes I don't even get a lunch break. The only plus to that is that it makes the day go by really fast. I think I am really going to like my job once I learn everything (if that is possible). I am in information overload all day long.

My family-
For some reason this winter, we can't seem to stay well. Jameson gets sick, then Rusty, then me. It is an endless cycle. Since Christmas we have been sick....really! Jameson had a double ear infection after Christmas. He got well and Rusty got sick, then I got sick. We have all been to the doctor more this year that I think I have been my whole life. Jameson just got over his 2nd double ear infection and now Rusty has an ear infection. I am just waiting my turn.  The sickness to end all sicknesses hit us a few weeks ago........THE VIRUS...dum dum dum (scary music and evil eyes from me inserted here)! I have only thrown up once in my life and had rather be stabbed with a knife than throw up ever again. I think I am dying when I throw up. So, when Jameson starting throwing up one Friday night, I prayed to the good Lord Jesus that he would spare me just this one thing. By Sunday Rusty and I were still free of the virus and I felt we were going to make it. My luck changed a bit when Rusty started throwing up that Sunday night. I started praying fiercly at that point. Tuesday rolled around and I was certain I had dodged a bullet. Until......Tuesday afternoon when I got home from work. I started feeling sick and started praying that if I had the virus to please let it come out the other end. I made a deal with Jesus that I would sit on the toilet for a solid 24 hours if he would allow me not to throw up. Well, He answered my prayers in between throwing up, I got to sit on the toilet! :) I really thought I was going to die! I have never been so sick in my life. I was so sick that I started throwing up blood (only on my last go round). It was bad. However, since  you are reading this, you will be happy to know that I did indeed survive. So, not such a good winter for the ole Camp family.

Jameson-
On to my favorite subject in the whole world....he is perfect! If you have lost count, he is now 19 months old!  I can't believe it. He is talking a lot more now and is actually able to communicate what he wants. That makes life so much easier. He is doing so many cute things that I can't even begin to tell you in one blog. I will share one cute thing he has started doing. Recently he has started noticing when he uses the bathroom and comes running to me holding "himself" and saying "Ewwwww". He has sat on the potty at daycare a few times, but nothing happens. We are not quite ready yet, but I know my diaper days will come to an end in the near future. My favorite word he says right now is of course, "ma ma". It melts my heart!

When my life gets extremely crazy and I don't think I can take much more, I have to have "me" time. I don't get to do that much, but I still try. Let me just share what goes on in my little corner of the world. If I ever get a chance to do something just for me, it is usually spent reading. That is my outlet. When I pick up a good book, I get lost in it and I forget all about the stress and demands of life. So, after much persuassion from numerous friends, I started reading the "Twilight Saga". Let me just say, "Oh my" (insert big eyes and a huge smile on my face). I became consumed by these books and could not wait until bedtime, lunch, breaks, rides in cars, any free time I had to read! I read all 4 books in a very short time and have started reading them again. They are the best books I have ever read. Those of you who have read them know what I am talking about. Some of you may not have read them and may be thinking I am crazy. Either way, I have thoroghly enjoyed myself. I thought I would never be a victim of the "twilight" fad, but I quickly fell into the fad. I love, love, love the books.  I would also like to say that I have been reading the Bible more as well. I have never been real disciplined when it comes to reading the Bible. Our Sunday School class decided to read the whole new testament and it has been great! I fall back on my reading sometimes, (Rusty makes me feel guilty for reading twilight at night if I don't read the Bible first), but that keeps me determined. I have had a great season of reading lately and I love it. God has really taught me some things. It has been amazing.

I know you are all tired of reading about my boring life, so I will end it here. We have been so busy, and though I get stressed and tired, I can honestly say that I love the life God has given me! He has blessed me so much (even thought He let me throw up for several hours one night). He is still good and loves me, even with my faults (ex. reading "twilight"). I will try to upload some pictures tomorrow so you can see how big my little man has gotten. I hope I still have some readers out there. Drop me a comment and let me know you still care! :)

Until next time......

So glad to see you back around these parts again!

So sorry that you have all had a rough winter and I hope that is soon coming to an end for you!

Also glad that you're enjoying the new job.

Can't believe that Jameson will be potty training soon! I promise though...after about a year of that, your life will be SO much easier (I say a year because at first he will want to go...ALL THE TIME...or at least Patrick did. After a year, he was on much more of a regular schedule and it was so easy).

I'll admit...I'm a fan of the Twilight saga as well. I didn't understand it either until I read it. Then I totally got it. I think I've read them three times now. As for the movies...I really didn't like the first one (although parts of it were endearing to me in a sad, pity-filled way), but really enjoyed New Moon.
