Guess what we've been doing

Starting him out early. We hope he will make us some good money one day.

He loves to sit in the jeep.

Finally got him to look at the camera!

There is a common theme to all of these pictures (beside the shirt).....do you know what it is? You guessed it, "outside". This is our life once the weather becomes warm. We are outside all the time and will do nothing else. So, if anyone ever needs us, just check the yard! Ha.

Happy Easter

It's a little late, but Happy Easter. We had a blast this Easter celebrating Jesus. He is alive and proves it to me daily by blessing me. Jameson had a great time too. He had fun opening his Easter basket Sunday morning, then it was off to church. He was the most handsome boy in church (of course). After church we headed to Pop and GiGi's house for some good eating. After a quick nap we went to Gam and Paw paw's house for more good eating and an Easter egg hunt. Jameson would see an egg and run as fast as he could, pick it up and say,  "I foun ouh". ("I found one" in baby talk). :) It was good to get to spend quality time as a family for a change. Sometimes we get so busy with everyday life that we forget to really spend time with each other. Here are a few pics of my handsome little man.

Picking flowers with daddy. Is he cute or what!!!!

Really getting into it

Sat. night before Easter, our very best friends Brandy and Jonathan came over with their little girl Maddie. It took Jameson a little while to warm up to Maddie, but after an hour or so they were having a blast. It is great to have quality "friend" time too. Brandy is my best friend and I hate that we live apart. I wish we had more "girl time", but what little bit we do get,  is amazing! You could so tell that Brandy and Jonathan have a girl and we have a boy. i.e......Jameson would run full speed and fall down so hard and Brandy and Jonathan would sort freak out. It was so funny. Jameson is very active and you know how much more boys tend to fall and run around than girls do. I didn't realize how we had become so used to Jameson falling until Brandy and Jonathan came over. Rusty told me he didn't know what we would do if we had a girl. She would be broken to pieces I guess. :)

Gotta love those stairs!

Maddie loved throwing stuff down to us

Everthing else is going well. I am super excited about the weather. It has been beautiful here lately. We are all finally getting better and spending most of our time outside. Life is grand! Lots of love to my readers!

Ahhhhh....

Well, just wanted to drop in and let everyone know that I am so very thankful that March is almost over and summer is on the way! Just to prove to you that I am not lying about our sickness, I will fill you in on the month of March..

Jameson's asthama has flared up again and we have been on the "breathing treatments straight from Hades" again. Going on 12 days now! I know it is a seasonal thing, but I am about ready to throw "Mr Panda" (that is what the nebulizer looks like and we have to name him or Jameson will not take his medicine) out the window. :) He is getting better, but can we just say, "enough already"!!!!!

Oh and Rusty had to have a tube put in his ear last week.....left over infection from all winter long finally got to him. I felt really sorry for him because they had to suck the infection out of his ear. He told me it was not very pleasant. Actually, he said in a very light way, "I had rather go through child birth". After a very short chew out and some minor yelling into his new cleaned out ear, he decided he changed his mind and took back what he said. :)

Oh and guess what, I am now sick too (allergies I think, but still not nice)  I told you it is a cycle and I am sick to death of it!!!! For now, I am just sitting at work marking off the days of the calendar and popping decongestants! Oh what a fun filled life I live.

Hope everyone else is good. Hopefully next time I update, everyone will be well.

Hey.....remember me?

So I haven't been able to blog in over a month and it has almost killed me. I have missed the blogging world so very much. So, in as short a blog as I can, I am going to sum up the last month. I will break it down into categories because I am so OCD and need organization....which i do not have most of the time and it drives me insane.

Job-
I started a new job in January and it has consumed all my time during the day. Sometimes I don't even get a lunch break. The only plus to that is that it makes the day go by really fast. I think I am really going to like my job once I learn everything (if that is possible). I am in information overload all day long.

My family-
For some reason this winter, we can't seem to stay well. Jameson gets sick, then Rusty, then me. It is an endless cycle. Since Christmas we have been sick....really! Jameson had a double ear infection after Christmas. He got well and Rusty got sick, then I got sick. We have all been to the doctor more this year that I think I have been my whole life. Jameson just got over his 2nd double ear infection and now Rusty has an ear infection. I am just waiting my turn.  The sickness to end all sicknesses hit us a few weeks ago........THE VIRUS...dum dum dum (scary music and evil eyes from me inserted here)! I have only thrown up once in my life and had rather be stabbed with a knife than throw up ever again. I think I am dying when I throw up. So, when Jameson starting throwing up one Friday night, I prayed to the good Lord Jesus that he would spare me just this one thing. By Sunday Rusty and I were still free of the virus and I felt we were going to make it. My luck changed a bit when Rusty started throwing up that Sunday night. I started praying fiercly at that point. Tuesday rolled around and I was certain I had dodged a bullet. Until......Tuesday afternoon when I got home from work. I started feeling sick and started praying that if I had the virus to please let it come out the other end. I made a deal with Jesus that I would sit on the toilet for a solid 24 hours if he would allow me not to throw up. Well, He answered my prayers in between throwing up, I got to sit on the toilet! :) I really thought I was going to die! I have never been so sick in my life. I was so sick that I started throwing up blood (only on my last go round). It was bad. However, since  you are reading this, you will be happy to know that I did indeed survive. So, not such a good winter for the ole Camp family.

Jameson-
On to my favorite subject in the whole world....he is perfect! If you have lost count, he is now 19 months old!  I can't believe it. He is talking a lot more now and is actually able to communicate what he wants. That makes life so much easier. He is doing so many cute things that I can't even begin to tell you in one blog. I will share one cute thing he has started doing. Recently he has started noticing when he uses the bathroom and comes running to me holding "himself" and saying "Ewwwww". He has sat on the potty at daycare a few times, but nothing happens. We are not quite ready yet, but I know my diaper days will come to an end in the near future. My favorite word he says right now is of course, "ma ma". It melts my heart!

When my life gets extremely crazy and I don't think I can take much more, I have to have "me" time. I don't get to do that much, but I still try. Let me just share what goes on in my little corner of the world. If I ever get a chance to do something just for me, it is usually spent reading. That is my outlet. When I pick up a good book, I get lost in it and I forget all about the stress and demands of life. So, after much persuassion from numerous friends, I started reading the "Twilight Saga". Let me just say, "Oh my" (insert big eyes and a huge smile on my face). I became consumed by these books and could not wait until bedtime, lunch, breaks, rides in cars, any free time I had to read! I read all 4 books in a very short time and have started reading them again. They are the best books I have ever read. Those of you who have read them know what I am talking about. Some of you may not have read them and may be thinking I am crazy. Either way, I have thoroghly enjoyed myself. I thought I would never be a victim of the "twilight" fad, but I quickly fell into the fad. I love, love, love the books.  I would also like to say that I have been reading the Bible more as well. I have never been real disciplined when it comes to reading the Bible. Our Sunday School class decided to read the whole new testament and it has been great! I fall back on my reading sometimes, (Rusty makes me feel guilty for reading twilight at night if I don't read the Bible first), but that keeps me determined. I have had a great season of reading lately and I love it. God has really taught me some things. It has been amazing.

I know you are all tired of reading about my boring life, so I will end it here. We have been so busy, and though I get stressed and tired, I can honestly say that I love the life God has given me! He has blessed me so much (even thought He let me throw up for several hours one night). He is still good and loves me, even with my faults (ex. reading "twilight"). I will try to upload some pictures tomorrow so you can see how big my little man has gotten. I hope I still have some readers out there. Drop me a comment and let me know you still care! :)

Until next time......

You say its your birthday!

Well, today is my birthday and I am so happy. Aren't bday's great!!! Ahhhhh.... Anyway, I just had to share the little note that Rusty emailed me this morning. It made me cry and made me feel so special and just reminded once again how lucky I am.

Well, well – I am excited that it’s your birthday! I know you are too. Let me take a moment and let me list some of the things I love about you:

There has never been a day since we’ve been together that I haven’t smiled from being with you.
A day has never gone by when you haven’t told me you love me.
You are more beautiful to me now than you were at 16 (and don’t argue about it!)
You show your heart by how selfless you are when it comes to me and J.
Unlike most, you are never concerned at what you have and you love the little things more than the big things.
You’re not lazy and you take pride in keeping everything clean.
You love to sing in the car! You love your coffee in the morning. You love to go places and outdoors.
I love to take you to eat supper (or dinner) cause it’s time together. And movies too…

Most of all, I love that you are my wife. The one for me, and with me always. I love you Beau and I hope you have a wonderful Birthday!

Hey Friends!

Long time no post. My job is taking up every minute of my day right now and I am afraid it isn't going to get any better. I am really enjoying it, but  you know how it is when you start a new job....you are the "newbie" and you have to learn new things and feel like you are so stupid sometimes. The good thing is that I know every one that I work with from working with them in the past. So....that is nice.

This weekend was a blast.....not really. Jameson ran a fever all weekend. One night it spiked to 102.6 and he was so hot. He has only had fever one other time in his life and it was only for one afternoon. He started running a fever on Friday and the last one he had was Sunday night. We were up Sat. night from 1:00 am to 5:00 am. He finally went to sleep and woke up again around 7. Sunday night was similar, but he wasn't up for 4 straight hours. I felt so bad for him becasue I couldn't do anyhing but hold him and love him. It was definitely one of those "helpless mommy" feelings. I took him to the doctor on Mon and he has a double ear infection and ulcers all in his throat and mouth. I don't blame him for not sleeping after I heard that. He is doing much better now, but it hasn't been the best week.

I thought going back to work full time would be very difficult because my other job schedule was so flexible, but truthfully it hasn't been that bad. I miss Jameson during the day sometimes, but when I get home he just gets extra lovin'. Rusty is real good about getting supper started or helping me do laundry so I can have some extra time with Jameson. He is wonderful like that.

My birthday is next week and I am super exctied. I dont' really know why, but I am. I just love bday's. It is a day just for you and no one else (except my brother in law) :) Yes, me and my brother in law share the same birthday except he is WAY older than I am (just kidding Bryan...Cantina make sure you let him read this). Anyway, I will be 28 and still feel like I am 20. I can't believe I am knocking on 30's door. Oh well.

That is about it. Boring huh? I will be sure to post any exciting birthday news. Don't forget it. Write it down on your calendar right now. Not that you will necessarily talk to me on that day, but at least you will say, "hey, it is Candice's bday today." I am sure I will feel the love.

Bye for now.

Missing In Action

I have been missing in action lately! Sorry..... I have a new job and it is taking all my time right now. I only get to blog at work because we do not have internet at our house. So, my blogs will be slim for a while until I get into the new groove of things.

Everyone is doing well. Jameson turned 17 months old today. He is a smart little guy. I know I am his mom, but I have people tell me that all the time. It makes me feel good. The cutest thing he is doing right now is sign language and asking mommy nicely for things. Rusty taught him how to say "more" in sign language to try to cut down on some of his whining. He started using it really well when he wanted some food, but then he started using it for everything. Like, he will say "more" when he wants to play, or eat, or wants me to follow him. It is so cute to see him do it and even though he uses it for everything, it stopped him from whining. I also taught him how to say "up please" when he wanted up or wanted me to hold him. He can't say his P's yet, so he says, "uh ease". I could melt everytime he says it. Unfourtuneately, he has also picked up the word "No". We tell him it a bad word and that we don't  say that. We have also started time out. Nothing seems to be working too well, but we are still trying. Any suggestions anyone???????

He is the cutest and sweetest child I know, but he sure does know how to press my buttons. I never dreamed he would be this smart at 17 months old. Every day is a learning process and I love being a mom.

Hope everyone is well. Please be patient with me and keep checking the blog.  I promise to update soon.

Oh what fun

We had a great Christmas. Lots of fun, food, and family. Jameson got so many presents from so many people who love him. Thanks everyone. We love you very much. I took too many pictures and could not possibly explain in a blog just how much fun we had. I decided to post a few pictures in a slideshow and hopefully you will get the picture.

After Christmas was over and all the presents were opened, I told Rusty that I was so thankful that we were able to provide a wonderful Christmas for Jameson and our family. Jesus is the real reason we even celebrate Christmas and it was evident just how real Jesus is at our house. He blessed us with so many fun things and with families who love us.

Slacker.......

I am a slacker. Go ahead......call me names. I feel shame. You know as well as I do that this time of year is the greatest, but the busiest as well. So let me catch you up.....Lots of parties, lots of birthday's, lots of wrapping......you get the picture.

Last week was my mom's birthday. She turned...just kidding mom. I wouldn't dare do that to you. If you knew my mom, you would know that she loves birthdays, but hates telling her age. She thinks she looks like 98 and is old and wrinkled, but others think differently. She is so pretty and doesn't look half her age. You can tell her that all day long and she will never believe you. Anyway, my mom is a very special person in my life. I wouldn't make it without her. My roomates used to make fun of me in college because I would call her every day and talk to her. She is my bestfriend and always will be. She has taught me a lot.

Things I wouldn't know if I didn't have my mom:

1. Is it ok to give J tylenol with decongestant
2. How to cook a ham, turkey, pot roast, corn bread
3. How to be a self -less parent
5. When to go to the doctor
6. How to be a good wife
7. How to be nice to people no matter what
8. How she managed to make me tell you everything in highschool (really still don't know that one)
9.Why Rusty makes me so crazy sometimes
10. It is ok to me

The number one question I ask my mom is.......
What do you think I should do?

No matter what I call my mom with, she always has an answer and always gives me reassurance and encouragement. She has never discouraged me or given me a negative answer. Rusty laughs at me because he knows when I am worried that I am calling my mom for advice.

I don' t know what I would do without you ma! Happy Birthday! I love you.

I am truly blessed to have a mom like I have. She has raised me well and I am so happy to be her daughter.

Merry Christmas if I don't blog before then!
