House

It has been a while since I have mentioned our house. We love it and are enjoying being in it. I still have boxes to unpack and there are still empty rooms, but one day it will be done. Here is a picture of the front and the back. This was the week after it snowed and there is still snow on the roof. We still need to do our landscaping and I am going to get rocking chairs and a swing for the porches. I am also going to put some planters on the porch with flowers in them. Maybe by this summer I will have all of that done. Have a great week.

Lots of news for you.....

Well, it has been a while since I have blogged and I have the news to prove it. Remember Jameson had bronchitis for the 2nd time about 4 weeks ago? Well this is the face I had to deal with all week while I was at home with him. It is too precious not to post.

We finally started feeling better with a little cough here and a little cough there, here a cough, there a cough, everywhere a cough cough....sorry Jameson's favorite song is Old McDonald right now so I make everything sound like it. Anyway, last week the daycare called me on Wed. and said he had diarrhea. So I go pick him up and he had it for 4 days. The kind that runs down there legs, out the diaper, and onto the floor!! It was not pretty to say the least. Anyway, I called the pediatrician and the nurse said it was probably teething. I couldn't believe teeth would make my child excrete so much bodily fluid! I mean I was amazed that such a little being could produce so much. So.....I just kept wiping and praying that it stopped soon. On Friday last week Jameson started wheezing and coughing again. So I called the nurse again. She said it was probably his allergies and to keep giving him his inhalers. So, he would squirt and I would squirt (the inhaler that is)! Bless his heart. He is still not better so I am taking him to the doctor today.

On a lighter note, Jameson is crawling. He is so cute. However, he has a "bum leg". He crawls with one leg out and the other one tucked under. It is so funny. Here is a picture to prove it.

Now that Jameson is mobile, I am super tired at the end of the day. I have to watch him constantly. He is all over the place and can scoot very fast. He has gotten a few bruises already from falling and bumping into things before I could reach him. I am tired, but it is so fun to see him grow and move. It just reminds me of how blessed I am to have a healthy child. His favorite thing to try to get is Lilly's dog food. He has almost gotten it a few times now. He also has 2 teeth and is working on more(i.e. diarrhea). :) Here is a picture of those pearly whites. They are so cute. It is not a very good picture, but when you get the camera out to take a picture it is like he knows not to smile. Go figure.

Jameson also LOVES to be outside. He even whines to go back out when I bring him in. We stroll daily and Rusty and I took him to the park on Sunday. He didn't quite know what to do, but he eventually warmed up to it and loved the slide. They had a little kiddie slide and Rusty would let him go and I would catch him at the bottom. He really liked it. Here are a few pictures from the park.

This is the longest blog ever, but I hope you enjoy reading as much as I enjoy reading your blogs. As you can see, God has blessed us greatly with a perfect healthy child. I am so thankful for my family and friends.

New Update

Sorry it has been so long, but nothing really exciting has been happening with the Camp family. Jameson had Bronchitis for the 2nd time last week so I was out of work all week at home with him. He had it really bad this time. We had to do a breathing treatment, 2 inhalers, a decongestant, and steroid (boooooo steroids)! If you have ever given your child a steroid you know that it makes them incredibly irritable and ill! I basically held my child for 7 days last week. He wouldn't do anything without me holding him. I know he didn't feel good though. He is on the mend now and I think I am getting it. I am coughing my head off and have some trouble talking; which is not good because my job requires lots of talking. Anyway, Jameson is just moving and growing. He has 2 teeth now. They are so cute. I love to see him smile and those two little teeth shine so bright. He can go from his tummy to a sitting position now too. I don't have to sit him back up when he falls over anymore. He is on the verge of crawling too. He crawled just a little last night, but still hasn't mastered it. He can pull up on things now too. He loves to stand up and bounce. His daycare worker said she was amazed at how much he learned in 1 week while he was out sick. Everyone tells me that he is so advanced and smart for his age. I have always thought that, but I am the mom and I am supposed to think that! :) Nothing else is really going on. Life revolves around our little man and we love it! Thanks for reading I will have some pictures soon.

Fun Game

I saw this on Brandy's blog and thought I would copy her....just for fun. I found some pretty interesting things.

Instructions: Google your "first name" and "needs" and post the first six that come up.So I googled. This is what I got...

1. Candice needs our help.
2. Candice needs to die. (yea this one is real)
3. Candice needs to brace herself for the future (is someone trying to tell me something?)
4. Candice needs a BFF
5. Candice needs a serious push.....

All of mine were so sad...is God trying to tell me something? I got kind of weirded out! ha. Now when I googled my name only I got lots of porn sights. Obviously a girl named "Candice Michelle" is a porn star. Coincidentally my middle name is Michelle. I have been a porn star all this time and didn't know it! So I quickly had to close the page because I was at work and didn't want anyone thinking I was looking at porn! Candice is also a WWE Raw superstar. So I got some really funny things searching my name. Brandy was right...it is funny. You should try it. Come on you know you want too....

Another thing....has anyone noticed how my son looks nothing like me in the picture above? I mean nothing.......his eyes, nose, face shape, nothing....just a little observation there. He is still as cute as a button though.

Valentine Adult Time

I bet you thought this was something I shouldn't be posting didn't you! Ha Ha.....Valentine's Day was great. The Friday before Valentines, we got together with Brandy and Jonathan, our very best friends who we love so much, and ate dinner. Did I mention without children? We decided we would have some adult time to talk...real conversation....no interruptions. So we did and it was great. We hung out all night on Friday and had a blast. I didn't want the night to end, but we had to get home to our little cuties! Bedtime was calling. We ate dinner at Fuji, hung out at the mall, and then ended the night with Starbucks. Rusty and I love friend time and wish we had more time to hang out. Brandy and Jonathan...we love you guys! Anyway, Valentine's Day was fun. Rusty and I didn't really do much. We exchanged some cute cards and candy and called it a day. Overall it was a great weekend.

FYI: I have posted 4 blogs today so make sure you scroll down to see all the cute pictures. I think it went over to another page. Thanks for reading!

Two hot babes at dinner!

Maddie's Bday

So I know Maddies party was like 2 weeks ago, but I just got my camera back and remembered to bring it to work. Maddie turned 1 and had a cute bday party. We had a great time with our sweet friends and can't believe Maddie is already a year old. It seems like Brandy just had her and I was still pregnant. Maddie and Jameson are exactly 6 months apart. We joke around and say that Maddie and Jameson are going to be married one day. So...we are putting them together early. At the party we put Maddie and Jameson in the wagon and they seemed to love it. We thought a romantic wagon ride would help them bond. The pictures turned out really cute.

Helping Jameson out with the toys!

Love at first sight!

Play Date

Jameson had his first play date a few weeks ago. Jill and Landon came to the house to play all day. They had a blast playing with each other. Landon is about 6-7 weeks older than Jameson and it is funny to see how different they are. We had a great time and can't wait until Spring so we can get out more.

If all we had were boxes

I think Jameson would be perfectly happy with boxes as toys. He has so many toys, but you show him a box or paper bag and he is in Heaven! He has a wipe box that he loves to play with more than any other toy right now. The other morning I was thrown out some old food and I had taken out some old waffles to throw away. Jameson had a fit for the box so I let him play with it. I jumped up to get my camera and when I came back I saw that he had found a waffle in the box and was trying to chew on it. Here are a few cute pictures.

6 month check up

Can you blieve my little pumpkin is already 6 months old? I can't. My how the time flies. We went to the doctor yesterday for our check up and shots. I had a knot in my stomach all morning and was so nervous when I took him back to his room. I hate seeing him cry. It hurts me more than him....I think. Anyway, he is a healty little boy. He weighs 17lbs. 12oz and is 26 1/2 inches long. The doctor said he is perfect. I could have told him that. Ha. We are still mastering our baby food, but he seems to like just about everything.....except green beans. I hated them as a child too so I can't blame him. I didn't start eating green beans until I was in my twenties. Now they are my favorite. He is also working on crawling. He gets on him tummy and scoots around and most of the time looks like he is trying to swim. He is so cute and I love him so much. I had no idea how much love I could feel for one person.

Hope everyone is doing well and I will post more later. I have some really cute pictures from Maddie's bday party, but I left my camera at Brandy's house. I will post those soon.

Long time no post

Sorry it has been so long, but I have been super busy and haven't had time to post anything. Not much is happening. Pretty much same things. Work, play, eat, sleep (very little) and start over again. Jameson is doing great and is still growing so big. He can sit up on his own now and we are working on crawling, though we still haven't mastered that yet. He doesn't like it when I put him on his hands and knees and he often times whines and lays down. We will get it though. He is now 6 months old and as cute as ever. He will smile at you now with both gums and you can't help but smile back. When he does get teeth he will definitely show them off.

My birthday was great! Everyone cooked for me(including Rusty)! He did a good job and I was very pleased. I can't believe I am 27 and have a child though. I told Rusty we had to get started on another one before we get too old. :) Just kidding. I can't handle anymore right now, but we do want more. Maybe 2 more.

That is about all that is happening right now. My life is very eventful, but predictable. I can't wait for spring. I get into a little slump every year about this time. I hate cold weather! You can't go outside, you constantly have dry skin, and it is always raining or gray outside. Not fun. I am a warm weather type of gal. I love the beach and can't wait to take Jameson this summer.

I don't really have any cute pictures to show you other than Jameson in his new bathtub. He got a rubber ducky tub and he loves to splash around in it.
